Neal Schon and Michaele Salahi: True Love Never Dies?

It’s all in the name of love. Journey guitarist Neal Schon and Michaele Salahi of the The Real Housewives of D.C, abandoned their marriages after 15 years of suppressing their love, according to the Daily Beast.

Schon, was recently married to former model and playboy centerfold Ava Fabian in Paris two months ago.

Salahi dated both Schon and her husband Tareq in the 90’s but had to make a choice. She chose what she thought would be a simpler life in Virginia wine country over the rock band on the road life style. She has suffered with multiple sclerosis for 20 years and that also influenced her decision.

But after all these years she realized the love was still there. The two had been texting and communicating behind their spouses backs, but the deciding moment came while attending a concert by Journey on Sept. 4, in Virginia where the Salahi’s were invited guests by Schon.

According to their interview with the Daily Beast, Salahi , removed her ring and then went to find him. Schon says, she then, says to him, “I love YOU. And, that’s never gonna change. And when that happened I said, ‘Get over here! This has taken 15 years!’”

Some days passed, as she tried to wrap up loose ends and left her husband to be with Schon.
