Perhaps no movie star ever lived her life as publicly as Elizabeth Taylor, who died Wednesday morning at the age of 79. The news was first reported by ABC television.

Taylor, who is survived by her four children, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was surrounded by her children, her publicist Sally Morrison said in a statement. She had been admitted to the hospital at the beginning of February. Continue Reading
